POWER CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS

The marina provides power for use on your vessel and outlined below are notes and requirements in relation to this connection:

The low voltage electrical supply at this marina is at 240V, 50Hz supplied by socket outlets which will accommodate a standard 15A plug.

Precautions should be taken to prevent the supply lead from sagging or falling into the water.

It is dangerous & illegal for unskilled persons to attempt repairs or alterations.

Your electrical supply lead should comply with the following:

The current rating of the flexible cord shall not be less than 15 amps.

Plugs & sockets shall be rated at not less than 15 amps.

All power cords must be tagged by an appropriately qualified person.

All components shall be in good condition.

We can assist you with reference to suitably qualified tradesman if you require any electrical works undertaken on your vessel.

Under no circumstances will the Marina accept responsibility for damage by connection to its low-voltage AC power distribution system.

The availability of power on the Marina is provided as a convenience. Prince of Wales Bay Marina accepts no responsibility
for any damage or fault to your vessels electrical wiring and equipment installed and connected on the Marina system. It is
the users responsibility to ensure the vessel connected to the Marina electrical system is of a safe and satisfactory nature &
acceptable to our Marina staff or authorised representative.

Marina Compliance Rules

1. When entering the marina by land or sea the vessel immediately comes under the Marina’s jurisdiction.

2. The marina has a maximum 5 knot/NO WASH limit at all times.

3. Toilets, oils, chemicals, spirits and oily bilges shall not be discharged into the marina waters.

4. Laundry is not to be hung in public view.

5. An adult must accompany children under the age of 12 years at all times.

6. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and fouling cleaned immediately.

7. Any collision or damage to any part of the marina/other boats shall be reported within 24 hours.

Marina Responsibility Rules

1. Connect to Marina power with a tagged & tested 15AMP power lead only.

2. Keep the vessel in a seaworthy condition and avoid it becoming unsightly and dilapidated.

3. Maintain equipment including ropes, fenders, warps and lines.

4. Ensure the vessel is insured, identifiable, equipped as required by law and safety practice.

5. Ensure that no ropes encroach on adjacent berths and that walkways are clear of all obstructions.

6. Ensure no part or attachment of the vessel projects over the walkway, regardless of wind direction.

7. Marina walkways must be clear of all hazards and obstructions, including dinghies and trolleys.

8. Remove all rubbish from marina to bins provided onshore.

Maintenance repair or construction likely to impact on other vessels, occupants and the generation of noise is prohibited:

1. Minor non-intrusive work on board vessel may be approved at the sole discretion of the Marina Manager.

Indemnity

I accept the rental and service charges as published. I am aware of the POW Marina by-laws and agree to be bound by them.

The Prince of Wales Bay Marina takes no responsibility for any incident which may occur to any person or property while on the
marina premises whether arising out of the use and operation of the facilities of the marina, out of the negligence of the marina
servants or agents, or in any other manner whatsoever, and the owner or person using the Marina hereby indemnifies the Prince of
Wales Bay Marina against all claims and demands whatsoever or howsoever arising.

I accept that should my account exceed the trading terms of 14 days from date of invoice by more than 30 days that the
marina may charge the outstanding amount without notice to the credit card below:
The marina may also credit this card with gate pass deposit funds.
